Make the most of your daytime hours with our Yoga sessions

Now that I have paid my dues in the work force and embarked on a new chapter in my life it sometimes seems that I am just as busy as before. I’ve heard yoga improves whatever you do; whether it is gardening, pickle ball, cycling or singing in a choir – a regular yoga practice increases flexibility, strength and stamina, improves posture and concentration and quietens the mind.

Between volunteer duties, family obligations and my favourite hobbies, there are few days that are completely free.  However with good planning and checking the class schedule of my favourite yoga studio, I can find one or more regular classes that are perfect for my free time during the day.

Hmmm…will it be a serene Monday morning or an energizing Tuesday evening?  I noticed that Wednesday, my first choice, offers classes throughout the day. With the convenience of online classes on Zoom I could even do the yoga classes from the comfort of my own home.  Fridays offers a tempting end-of-day restorative class available either online or in person.

I might like a Monday morning class to gear up for the week AND a Friday restorative class. Refreshed and relaxed… what a great way to start the weekend!

Finding time for yoga amidst my busy schedule isn’t really difficult, and I understand the importance of these regular classes in bringing balance to my body and mind. And, bonus! The studio has a flexible policy for make-up classes so classes work well with my travel plans.

It’s a very welcoming place right from the front desk to the large inviting yoga room where a friendly teacher greets you. I find that yoga calms my mind as when I am practising I am focused on the pose that I am doing. Come out and give it a try. – LE
