Dear Students,

All in studio classes have been suspended until Island Health updates protocols for group activities (gyms, dance studios, yoga studios).

If you are currently registered in the November term, and would like to attend an online class as a make-up, please email for the link.

Class options: Wednesday 5-6 pm with Soo; Thursday 5:30-6:30pm with Adia; Friday 10:30-12 noon with Ty.

The December term starts Monday, November 30th and runs until Sunday, December 20th.

The Centre will offer online classes only, in December.

Life Flows

“Life flows, we have to follow the flow.”

– Abhijata Iyengar

Dear Students,
Yesterday Bonnie Henry announced new restrictions because of the mounting Covid cases in BC.

The Centre is open for studio and online classes, until further notice.

As of 3pm this afternoon, our Island Health representative emailed that students and teachers must wear masks during classes, until December 7th.

The announcement yesterday also said that all non-essential travel should be avoided. This includes travel into and out of BC and between regions of the province. For example:
• Do not travel for a vacation
• Do not travel to visit friends or family outside of your household or core bubble
For most people, their core bubble is their immediate household. For others, their core bubble may contain a partner, relative, friend or co-parent who lives in a different household. This should be a maximum of two people outside of those living in your immediate household. People who live alone can continue to see the same one or two people from their core bubble.

Do not come to the studio if you have travelled anywhere out of Greater Victoria. Phone us for clarity, if you have been around people who have travelled. It is very hard on everyone to have to turn students away at the door!

Following Island Health’s protocol, teachers and students must now wear masks during classes, until December 7th.

Stay safe everyone.

Namaste, love,
Wendy and Britta

Updated Protocols

Following are the updated protocols from Island Health:

Travelling to the mainland, or in contact with travellers from the mainland? Stay away from the centre for 14 days please.
Coming to in studio classes? Wear a mask when you enter the building until you are on your mat, please. Take the mask off during class and put it back on before you leave the studio.
Do a little health check-in before you leave the house. Not feeling 100%? Stay home please. We are happy to give you an online class or a credit for the next session. Even if it turns out that you are not sick, you will not be penalized for being careful. Please err on the side of caution. Teachers and staff are following the same protocols.
To reduce the risk of aersol transmission, we have been advised not to chant in class for the time being.

Thanks for supporting the protocols and keeping us all safe.

Namaste, love,
Wendy and Britta
