“Life flows, we have to follow the flow.”
– Abhijata Iyengar
Yesterday Bonnie Henry announced new restrictions because of the mounting Covid cases in BC.
The Centre is open for studio and online classes, until further notice.
As of 3pm this afternoon, our Island Health representative emailed that students and teachers must wear masks during classes, until December 7th.
The announcement yesterday also said that all non-essential travel should be avoided. This includes travel into and out of BC and between regions of the province. For example:
• Do not travel for a vacation
• Do not travel to visit friends or family outside of your household or core bubble
For most people, their core bubble is their immediate household. For others, their core bubble may contain a partner, relative, friend or co-parent who lives in a different household. This should be a maximum of two people outside of those living in your immediate household. People who live alone can continue to see the same one or two people from their core bubble.
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN TO STUDENTS COMING TO THE CENTRE, STARTING TOMORROW: SATURDAY NOVEMBER 21ST?
Do not come to the studio if you have travelled anywhere out of Greater Victoria. Phone us for clarity, if you have been around people who have travelled. It is very hard on everyone to have to turn students away at the door!
Following Island Health’s protocol, teachers and students must now wear masks during classes, until December 7th.
Stay safe everyone.
